The editorial board considers the reviews when making a decision; the decision is conditioned by the scientific value of the contribution in question, the credibility of the content and fitness within the scope of the journal.
The editorial board evaluates the manuscripts regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, origin, citizenship or political preferences of the authors.
Regardless of the decision to accept or reject the manuscripts, they are not subject to personal use or transfer to third parties. The editorial board does not disclose information about the manuscript to anyone other than authors, reviewers, other scientific consultants and the publisher. Unpublished data obtained from submitted manuscripts are prohibited from being used in any form in other studies without the written consent of the author.
The editorial staff of the journal “Moscow University Bulletin. Series 8: History” is guided by the legislation of the Russian Federation in relation to copyright (Chapter 70 “Copyright” of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation); the journal adheres to international standards of ethics for scientific publications developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The editorial staff of the journal makes every effort to comply with the ethical standards adopted by the international scientific community and to prevent their violations.
