Британская историография коммунистического интернационала 1990-х гг.

Аннотация

В 1990-е гг. историки стали проявлять все больший интерес к изучению III Интернационала, и помимо господствовавшего традиционалистского концептуального подхода к данной теме в западной историографии окончательно утвердился оформленный в предыдущие десятилетия ревизионистский подход. Значительное количество исследований, посвященных Коминтерну, было опубликовано в данный период именно британскими учеными, причем проживающими не только в Великобритании, что обусловило расширение круга изучаемых вопросов. Появлялись монографии и статьи, посвященные как непосредственно Коминтерну, так и деятельности его зарубежных секций, а также смежным проблемам — истории коммунизма и левых сил различных оттенков, международным отношениям Советской России, коммунистическому движению в отдельных странах. Заинтересованность темой Коминтерна в зарубежной исторической науке была вызвана необходимостью разрешить ряд спорных, малоизученных или требовавших переосмысления вопросов, главным образом касающихся деятельности зарубежных секций: масштаб влияния политики Коминтерна на тактическую линию коммунистических партий различных стран, их возможность либо невозможность проводить независимую политику; «сталинизация» Коминтерна, ее хронологические рамки; изменение тактики и стратегии Коминтерна. Большинство исследований, изданных в 1990-х гг., в которых авторы придерживаются традиционалистского подхода, опираются на гораздо более ранние работы, однако благодаря открытию ряда российских архивов в значительном объеме стали привлекаться архивные материалы, что повысило объективность научных трудов, написанных, в том числе, с позиций противоположных концепций. Историографическая традиция изучения Коминтерна, существовавшая до начала 1990-х гг., подверглась изменениям: увеличение числа представителей ревизионистского подхода повлекло за собой смену акцентов и пересмотр некоторых устоявшихся точек зрения. Авторы, придерживавшиеся этой концепции, стали опираться на более современную литературу (в том числе российскую) и широкую источниковую базу, представленную материалами как зарубежных архивов, так и Российского государственного архива социально-политической истории. Согласно логике статьи, по каждому из рассматриваемых вопросов сначала представлены мнения «традиционалистов», затем «ревизионистов».
